This Haeundae Dongbaek course completes a first day in Busan mostly on foot. It is about 5.5 km of walking, 1 hour 40 minutes of pure walking, and 8 to 9 hours total with meals and rest.
Route order
Haeundae Station, Haeundae Beach, the Dongbaek Island trail, Nurimaru APEC House, The Bay 101, and the Marine City night view, in order.
Getting around
- From Exits 3 or 5 of Haeundae Station (Line 2), walk about 600 m along Gunam-ro
- The Dongbaek Island loop is a flat 1.2 km, 30 to 40 minutes
- Go counterclockwise so the Gwangan Bridge view is the late-route climax
Time your start so the second half begins 30 minutes before sunset, when The Bay 101 peaks. On weekend afternoons the island road jams, so park near Haeundae Station and walk.
