Can I take a pushchair or a wheelchair on the Songdo cable car in Busan?
We are visiting Busan with a toddler and my mother, who uses an electric wheelchair. I read that the Songdo cable car crosses the sea between two parks, but nothing on the page said whether either of them can board. What are the actual restrictions, and if the electric wheelchair cannot go on, is there a way to manage it at the station?

Standard wheelchairs can board, but electric wheelchairs cannot be taken on the Songdo cable car. A pushchair is fine as long as it is folded.
That is the core restriction, and it is worth planning around rather than discovering at the station. For your mother's electric wheelchair, the practical route is to ask staff at the base station about transferring to one of the standard wheelchairs kept on site. Whether that transfer is workable depends on her mobility and on availability that day, so call or ask at the ticket office before committing the whole group to the trip.
Some context on the ride itself, which affects how long a transfer has to last. The cabins run about 1.62km between Songnim Park on the east and Amnam Park on the west, reaching roughly 86m above sea level. One way is eight to ten minutes, and a return trip including time at the far station is usually thirty to forty minutes. So the transfer is not a brief matter of a few minutes.
Both stations have observation areas, photo points and shops, so waiting at either end is not unpleasant if part of your group rides and part does not. That is a reasonable fallback if the transfer turns out not to work.
Two other things for a family trip. Ticket sales close 30 minutes before the last run, so arriving late in the day is riskier than it looks. And services can stop entirely for safety in strong wind, which is worth checking on the day before travelling out to Songdo. The ticket office and cabins provide information in Korean, English, Chinese and Japanese, so asking about accessibility in English at the counter is realistic.
