Korea has some genuinely world-class amusement parks. The big two are Everland in Yongin, about an hour south of Seoul, the largest, famous for the T Express wooden coaster, a drive-through safari zoo, and gorgeous seasonal flower festivals (tulips in spring, roses in early summer, and huge Halloween and Christmas displays); and Lotte World in Seoul itself, unique for combining a giant indoor park with the outdoor Magic Island on a lake, super convenient by subway at Jamsil. Beyond those, Seoul Land near Seoul Grand Park, E-World in Daegu, and Gyeongju World are all popular.
For tickets, do not just pay full price at the gate; booking through Klook, Trazy, or the parks' own sites is usually noticeably cheaper, and those platforms have English and bundle shuttle options. Everland and Lotte World both have English-friendly apps and maps. To make the most of it, go on a weekday if you can since weekends get very crowded with long ride lines, use the paid Q-pass or Magic Pass skip-the-line option for the popular rides when waits are brutal, arrive at opening to hit the big coasters first, and check the seasonal festival calendar since the flower and light displays are half the fun. Bring your passport or ARC in case of a foreigner discount, and both parks have lockers, English signage, and plenty of food inside.
