What winter sports and activities are available in Korea besides skiing and snowboarding?

Ice fishing is a whole experience here, headlined by the Hwacheon Sancheoneo festival in January where you catch trout through holes in the frozen river, with similar events like the Inje icefish festival. If you want to stay warm, the big water parks run year-round and are a fun contrast to the cold, and indoor climbing gyms and jjimjilbang saunas are cozy winter go-tos.
