Start with common documents
Check the Integrated Application Form (Form No. 34), passport, Alien Registration Card (ARC), and proof of residence. A lease in your name or dormitory confirmation may serve as address evidence. If the lease belongs to someone else, ask which additional accommodation documents are required.
Students and language trainees
For D-2 or D-4-1 status, check enrollment evidence first. Ask your international office whether transcripts, tuition payment records, financial proof, or attendance certificates are needed. Thesis-stage students may need completion documents and an advisor’s recommendation.
Employees
Ask your employer about your employment contract and business registration documents. Depending on visa category and employment arrangement, corporate registration, a guarantor form, tax records, or an employment certificate or dispatch order may also be required. Changing or adding workplaces can involve a separate procedure.
Before submitting
