- Certificates and proof documents: Documents such as proof of entry/departure and proof of alien registration can often be issued online without an appointment, though online applications may require an identity-verification certificate.
- When your deadline is near: If no appointment slots are available, HiKorea's official guidance is to visit your competent office in person before the deadline expires. Visiting after the deadline may result in fines or penalties.
- Check whether you qualify as an exception: Confirming in advance whether your task can be handled without an appointment can greatly reduce booking stress.
