I miss cooking food from home but I can't find many of the ingredients I need at regular Korean supermarkets. Where can I find international and Western food ingredients in Korea?

I had the same struggle when I first got here! The best place for Western and international ingredients is iHerb, which delivers to Korea and has a huge selection of spices, sauces, and specialty items. For in-person shopping, Itaewon has several great spots like High Street Market and Foreign Food Mart that carry ingredients from all over the world. If you are in Seoul, the Hannam-dong area also has a few international grocery stores.

For Southeast Asian ingredients, try the markets around Ansan or Daerim where there are large immigrant communities with dedicated grocery shops. Costco Korea is fantastic for cheese, bread, pasta, and imported meats at reasonable prices. On Coupang, search for the specific ingredient in English and you will often find imported options with Rocket Delivery. There is also a store chain called SSG Food Market in larger Shinsegae department stores that carries a solid range of imported goods. For Indian spices and ingredients, check out shops in Dongdaemun near the Seoul Central Mosque area.
