In Jeonju Hanok Village, sights, food, and photo spots cluster within about 800m from Gyeonggijeon to Omokdae, so with the right route you can cover it well in half a day.

Best half-day route

Start at the Pungnammun public parking lot and follow Gyeonggijeon (3,000 won entry, bamboo-grove photos), Jeondong Cathedral (a Romanesque stone building framed with hanok roofs), the main village alley (food and strolling), and the Omokdae viewpoint (hanok rooftops at sunset). This reverse-U route only climbs once, at the end, saving energy.

Hanbok rental

Dozens of rental shops cluster at the entrance alley, at 15,000 to 25,000 won for adults (3 to 4 hours base). If you arrive before 10am, a full-day rental is better, and Gyeonggijeon and the cathedral don't open before 9am.
