I cannot read Korean well but want to use food delivery apps. How do I navigate Baemin, Yogiyo, and Coupang Eats as a foreigner?

Coupang Eats is by far the easiest for non-Korean speakers since the entire app, restaurant menus, and customer support are available in English. Just switch the language in settings during signup, and most major chains plus many local restaurants will appear with English names and item descriptions. Yogiyo also has English support though menu translations are spottier outside Itaewon and Gangnam.

For Baemin (배달의민족), which has the widest selection, the app itself has a basic English mode under 마이배민 → 언어 설정, but most restaurant menus stay in Korean. Trick that works well: use Papago or Google Translate's camera mode pointed at the menu screen, or screenshot the menu and use the Translate app's image function. You can also search by photo since most items have pictures. Payment requires a Korean card or Kakao Pay, and address entry is easier if you use jibun-juso (지번 주소) format, which the app converts automatically. Save your address once and reuse it for every order.
