Korean nail salons are amazing and very affordable compared to many countries!
A basic manicure or pedicure runs about 20,000-30,000 KRW, gel nails are 40,000-60,000 KRW, and if you want the intricate Korean nail art that Korea is world-famous for, expect to pay around 50,000-100,000+ KRW depending on the design complexity. Removal is usually just 5,000-10,000 KRW.
Most salons have design books or Instagram portfolios, so you can just point to what you like without needing to explain in Korean. Hongdae and Gangnam areas have tons of great options. You can search "네일샵" on Naver Map to find nearby salons with reviews.
A couple of tips: many salons offer package deals for hands and feet together, which is a better deal. And if you follow Korean nail artists on Instagram, you can save their posts and show them as reference. It's really a point-and-choose kind of experience, so no Korean language skills needed!
