I'm on a D-2 visa and just got married to a Korean citizen?
I'm on a D-2 visa and just got married to a Korean citizen. I applied for an F-6 visa change, but now I need to withdraw from university. Will I lose my F-6 application if my D-2 is cancelled? Do I have to leave Korea within 5 days?

This is a real risk, so handle it carefully before withdrawing. An F-6 change application is assessed on the marriage, but while it's pending your legal stay usually rests on your current D-2, and if the university cancels your enrollment your D-2 can be cancelled, which can undermine the pending application and your lawful stay. The safest move is to contact immigration or 1345 first and explain the timing, and ideally keep your enrollment until the F-6 is approved or immigration confirms an alternative. Since marriage-based cases can sometimes get a bridging status, get official guidance before you withdraw rather than after.
