What are the must-have apps for daily life in Korea as a foreigner? I just arrived and want to set up my phone properly.

Welcome to Korea! Here are the apps I wish someone told me about when I first arrived. For messaging, KakaoTalk is absolutely essential because everyone in Korea uses it, from friends to delivery drivers to your landlord. For navigation, Naver Map and KakaoMap are far more accurate than Google Maps in Korea. Papago is the best translator app for Korean and it works great with the camera feature for reading menus and signs.
For food delivery, get Baemin (배달의민족) and Coupang Eats. For online shopping, Coupang is the Korean Amazon with next-day Rocket Delivery. For public transportation, get Kakao Metro for subway routes and Kakao Bus for bus arrival times. T-money card app or Kakao Pay lets you pay for transit without a physical card. For banking, your bank app plus Toss is super useful for easy transfers and checking exchange rates. And Yogiyo is another delivery app with more restaurant variety in some areas. Once you get these set up, daily life gets so much easier.
