How can foreign families find weekend activities for children in Korea?
My family recently moved to Korea with young children. We are looking for weekend activities that are suitable for foreign families, and I would like to know where parents usually search for them.

We moved here with two young kids, so I've done a lot of this hunting. For finding activities, the most useful sources are the local mom cafes on Naver (search the Korean word matmkape along with your district name) and the expat family groups on Facebook like the Seoul-area parenting communities, where people constantly share weekend ideas and reviews. For the activities themselves, there's a lot to choose from: the Seoul Children's Grand Park is free and has a small zoo, the Seoul Children's Museum and the Samsung Children's Museum are great for hands-on play, and the Gwacheon National Science Museum is a hit on rainy days. Indoor play cafes, called kids cafes, are everywhere and perfect when the weather is bad, and the Hangang riverside parks are wonderful for picnics and cycling when it's nice. Your district community center often runs low-cost weekend programs too, and reading Naver Map reviews helps you judge whether a place is toddler-friendly before you go.
